How can I create an exception report for holiday hours based on hours worked?
Some companies only give full 8-hour holidays to SCA employees based on the hours worked during the preceding week of the holiday. An export template can be used as an exception report to identify people who did not work the expected number of hours for the week. Using this exception report, a Unanet Admin or Holiday Manager can go in and appropriately edit the person's assignment hours for the given holiday.
Below is a screenshot of the export logic and a sample export template attached. The logic determines whether a person worked the expected number of hours or not. If they did, they are not included on the exception report. If they did not work the expected number of hours, they will be included in the exception report's output.
A Unanet Admin or Holiday Manager can use this exception report for each holiday week to identify which employees should have their assignment hours edited downward.
For example: If 40 hours are worked during the week preceding a holiday, the employee will receive all 8 hours for the holiday. However, if only 32 hours are worked during the week preceding the holiday, the employee will receive 6.4 hours in holiday time.
