Brief description:

This page outlines the CreditCardConnect offering, which facilitates the automatic import of deposited credit card files to a platform that is hosted and maintained by Unanet.

Note: A subscription fee is required to utilize CreditCardConnect.

This offering is currently for AMEX Corporate card users and VISA users with possible expansion to include other credit card companies.

What’s covered in this document:

AMEX (KR-1025 import)

Prerequisites

In order to be eligible for the hosted automated import, you must meet the requirements below:

  • AMEX Corporate card user (using one of the American Express Corporate options).
  • Able to use the KR-1025 file format (must be located in North America).
    • Note: A future expansion of this offering may address the GL-1025 format for companies or subsidiaries outside North America.

Contact American Express directly at 1-866-568-0308 or visit the link below in order to gain access to the KR-1025 file.

Once you determine that you meet the prerequisites, please contact your Unanet Customer Success Manager for a proposal to get started.

Setup

Once you begin implementation of CreditCardConnect with Unanet:

  1. A Unanet configuration member will be assigned to work with you. She/he will guide you through the necessary steps.
  2. Contact the AMEX electronic transmissions team for the GDTF Form and Implementation Form (phone: 1-800-337-7283, email: electronictranmissionsteam@aexp.com). These forms are necessary to establish the connection.
    Sample forms are attached here:
    1. GDTF_2016.pdf
    2. Amex Implementation Form Template.docx
      1. Requirements for the Implementation Form (highlighted in yellow in the template above) include:
        • Request Type: KR-1025.
        • Setup Type: Push Type (American Express will deliver the file to Client Server).
        • Masking Options: Partially Masked all digits except for last 7 (ensure the uniqueness of exposed digits).
        • Protocols: SFTP/SSH.
        • Remote Access Details (Request Unanet TSG to provide hosted platform information).
        • File Encryption: NO.

Note: Credit card numbers and other sensitive data will be masked prior to being transmitted to the Unanet Hosted IMU platform for data security reasons.
